Hi, Office Insiders, my name is Kathy Amadio and I’m a Program Manager on the Office team. Microsoft 365 has so much to offer you to help you create beautiful documents starting with premium templates to get you started, thousands of creative images for you to add, and many new premium features and apps to help you do your best work. I’m excited to share a new way for you, as Microsoft 365 subscribers, to get the most out of your subscription: Your Subscription Benefits Center.

Your Subscription Benefits Center

Your Subscription Benefits Center

Your Subscription Benefits Center is your place to discover and learn how to get the most out of Microsoft 365 and get set up to make your subscription work for you. For example, get going with PC Folder Backup, install the latest mobile app, or share your Family subscription with others. It also invites you to explore and experience premium features. For example, Editor provides inline help to make your documents crisp and clear. In addition, Money in Excel allows you to easily take charge of your finances.

How it works

To access Your Subscription Benefits Center, simply click on the diamond icon in the title bar of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook for Windows.

Tips and tricks

  • If the premium feature is available to the application that you are in, Your Subscription Benefits Center will give you the option to directly launch the feature. For example, it will launch PowerPoint Designer when you are in PowerPoint.

Known issues

  • We are still working on content for installing the mobile app and Family subscription sharing.
  • This feature is only supported in English for now.
  • If you have enabled text scaling from Windows settings, there may be problems with rendering and text getting cutoff depending on the scaling percentage.
  • If you try PowerPoint Designer when Designer is already open, then Your Subscription Benefits Center will close Designer instead of leaving it open.

Requirements

This feature:

  • Requires Windows 10
  • Needs a Microsoft 365 subscription.
  • Is available to Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscription users.

Availability

This feature is rolling out to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Beta Channel users who are running Office Version 2103 Build 13901.20140 or later.

Features are released over some time to ensure things are working smoothly. We highlight features that you may not have because they’re slowly releasing to larger numbers of Insiders. Sometimes we remove elements to further improve them based on your feedback. We also reserve the option to pull a feature entirely out of the product.
